Songwriter Circles allow songwriters to share an ongoing or completed project with a group of fellow songwriters and get feedback and advice if they wish. We strive to be helpful and supportive to all who are interested in the craft of songwriting and the business of music, and we welcome all levels of expertise. We’re a friendly bunch: critiques are gentle, and newcomers are always welcome. In fact, we ask that you tell us what you’re looking for when sharing a song–feedback, help with a work-in-progress or just a listen. You do NOT need to have a song prepared to attend. If you do wish to showcase a song, please bring copies of your lyric sheet for the rest of the group for the critique session, as well as any medium (instrument, cd player, computer, etc.) you may need to present/play your song.
